Ram Meadow is steeped in history, having been the home of Bury Town Football Club since 1978. But as the Club undergoes some positive changes, so does it’s name.
Ram Meadow, will now be known as the ‘Frames Conservatories Direct Ram Meadow’ Stadium after longtime supporters of the Club, Frames Conservatories Direct, offered to sponsor the ground.
The company have a long history of supporting Bury Town, but as they handed over main club sponsorship of the Club last month to their trade division, Plastic Trade Frames, they wanted to continue their support of the Club in some way.
Adrian Lewis, Managing Director of Frames Conservatories Direct and PTF said: “We changed over main club sponsorship of Bury Town to our trade division because, as a business, it was better aligned to the Club. However, after such a long involvement both professionally and personally with the Club, we wanted to continue to support them in any way we could. If sponsoring the stadium can bring in extra funds for the Club to help them progress, then we are happy to help”.
Frames Conservatories Direct are firm believers of supporting sport in the local community, and will continue to be main club sponsors of Bury Rugby Club and the Bury St Edmunds Sunday Football League, as well as more recently also giving their backing to Ixworth Bowls Club.
