Today (Thursday 16 October) Sainsbury’s has announced that from April next year their customers will earn half the number of nectar points
Quite rightly their customers are reported to be ‘infuriated’! This comes at a time when at Frames Conservatories Direct we have just launched a very generous reward programme to our loyal customers. Over the coming months, all new and previous customers of FCD will be invited to join Club FCD which rewards them for recommending us to their friends and family. Just one recommendation will earn them £50 of shopping vouchers or £100 off their next purchase with us. If they can go on to recommend 5 friends they will earn a massive £500 in shopping vouchers or £1000 of their next purchase with us.
We recognise that happy customers are an extremely valuable asset and we feel it only right that we reward them for spreading the word about their experience with us to their friends and family.
Only time will tell if Sainsburys regrets its decision – we feel confident enough about the quality of our products, the level of service we provide and the fact that we achieve such high levels of customer satisfaction to be sure that this type of reward programme will work for our customers and for us.
