New mobile unit offers advice on home security and energy saving

Frames Conservatories Direct in Bury St Edmunds unveiled their new Home Security and Energy Saving Advice mobile unit at the Bury Flower Festival last weekend.

The mobile unit is perfectly timed after a spate of thefts in Bury St Edmunds recently, which has left residents reeling. Whilst these break-ins are mainly down to opportunists who see an open window or door as an invitation, there are more sophisticated criminals who would be able to enter your home even when your windows and doors are closed and locked.

Offering advice on all aspects of home security, advisors are on hand to answer any questions you may have and also give advice on how to better protect yourself and your family from burglary.

As well as home security, another pressing issue for many is energy saving and protecting the environment. You can ask advisors about how your home could be more energy efficient, saving you money on your household bills.

Adrian Lewis, Managing Director of Frames Conservatories Direct said: “We were disgusted to read about the amount of break-ins there have been in the area recently. Residents should feel safe in their own homes and if we can help just one person improve their home security, or save some money on their household bills then we’ll be pleased.”

Look out for the brightly coloured unit, featuring cartoon characters Burglar Bill and Patty the Polar Bear, which will be popping up all over Bury St Edmunds over the next few weeks.
