The best Bifold Doors in Ely from Frames Conservatories Direct!

Living in a place like Ely, you want your home to match the beauty of your surroundings.

From the majesty of Ely cathedral, the dramatic countryside, the peat-black Fens with fast flowing rivers, it is no wonder that Ely is always on the most desirable places to live lists.

And it is also a place that promises the best quality of life. From low crime rates, to longer life expectancy and higher earnings – Ely seems to have it all. So when you are focusing on your property, it makes sense to use the best materials to turn your house in to your home.

Doors are an important area for the home. They are one of the first things you and your visitors see on approach. They affect how you use your room inside. And they also help keep you and your home safe from the outside. With this in mind your door should tick the boxes for aesthetics, security and functionality.

Bifold doors have seen a massive surge in popularity over the past few years, particularly in places like Ely. Bi folding doors are perfect in homes that have a lot of space to play around with. The majority of the homes in Ely benefit from larger than average grounds.

Bifolding doors can open up to the outside and unite your home with your garden in a way that other door styles cannot.

Frames Conservatories Direct offers a diverse range of beautifully designed Bifold Doors.

These specific style of doors are becoming more and more popular for homes that want to blend their interior with the outdoors.

We founded our company on the belief that we offer the highest standards in the industry. From initial enquiry right through to the finish, we ensure our customers remain content with every aspect of our service. Everything from the level of craftsmanship and communication to keeping on schedule and working without causing any inconvenience is designed to make sure you enjoy a zero-hassle experience with us. Our promise to each and every one of our clients includes:

  • Fully inclusive pricing – Absolutely NO hidden extras
  • Fully trained and highly skilled installation teams
  • Experienced surveyors working with you for you
  • Customer service that goes the extra mile

Bi fold doors change the way you interact in a room. On installation you are effectively removing the fourth wall – meaning that your home has more of a relationship with outside. If you have a great view of a garden you want to enjoy, or decking that you want to become part of your dining area, bifold sliding doors are the perfect solution for changing the physical boundary of a wall.

Frames Conservatories Direct are perfectionists. We make sure that every door that leaves our site is made to the highest standards and will provide the customer with decades of service. You can view the quality of our bi folding French doors by visiting our Indoor Home Improvement Exhibition Centre, just down the road from Ely, in Bury St Edmunds.

Some of the folding doors we have to offer include:

  • Exterior Bifold Doors
  • Bifold Internal Doors
  • Wooden Bifold Doors
  • Aluminium Bi Fold Doors

Our fold doors can gather up inside or outside. You have a choice of a centre opening or a slide from the right or left. We help you work out what will work best in your home.

Security is one of our main priorities. We want you to feel completely secure in your home. That is why we have designed our bifolding doors with innovate multi-locking points that will help to deter any potential intruders. All our door frames can be thermally-broken aluminium, wooden or easy-to- maintain UPVC.

These doors can be fitted anywhere in the home. Our bifold internal doors are used to divide a dining area and a kitchen, or two reception rooms. The popular exterior bifold doors are generally installed around the back or side of houses to look out over grounds.

These can be used to great effects in playrooms and studies.

Most of our glass bifold doors come fitted with energy-saving glass. This is double-glazed glass with a very thin, invisible film on the surface which helps trap in heat – perfect for British weather. However, if the situation demands, we can also offer active glass, which keeps the room cool in summer and warm in winter but also protects carpets and furniture from sunlight damage.

Our bifold doors can cover up to the length of 6000mm – so can easily work alongside an existing facade.

Changes to your house, no matter how small, can be a big decision. While our bifolding doors will be a choice you will be glad you’ve made, we want you to be completely at ease with our service and products. That’s why, as part of our peace of mind promise, we offer:

  • 10 Years Insurance Backed Guarantee
  • A Professional Service From Start To Finish
  • Flexible Funding Options
  • The Highest Level Of Security And Energy Efficiency
  • Award Winning Customer Satisfaction
  • The Only Installer In The Area With a BSi Kitemark For Installation

To see how our bi fold doors can help change the look of your home, please fill in the online form above and we will contact you as soon as possible. Or you can ring us now on 0135 380 9701.

We look forward to working with you and helping your vision come to life.

A. Fensa is a Competent Persons Scheme. When replacing windows, doors and roof lights in dwellings in England and Wales, homeowners must comply with current thermal performance and Building Regulation standards and ensure they get a certificate from a Competent Person scheme or Local Authority Building Control. Fensa is one of those schemes. We belong to the 'Assure' Competent Person’s Scheme, it allows us to fully comply with the registration process and it affords our customers the security of knowing that their installer of choice has the ability to do the job correctly and to the correct standards. The 'Assure' team regularily inspect our work and ensure our installation teams are fully compliant, trained and able to do the job.

A. Our sales team do not employ high pressure sales tactics. There is no phone calls to managers, no 50% off discounts for a signature today. Just straight talking, straight forward advice.

A. Windows & Doors – generally you do not require planning permission unless you are significantly changing the appearance of the house with the new installation. The exception would be if you are installing a bay window where there wasn’t one previously or if you live in a listed building or a conservation area.

Extensions and Conservatories – as long as you meet certain criteria regarding height, position relative to the house and land area, an extension or conservatory is generally considered permitted development not requiring planning permission. You will, however, need Building Control for a glazed extension or to put a solid roof on to an existing conservatory.

Driveways and Patios – you don’t need planning permission

Garden Walls – you only need planning permission if the wall is over 2 meters high or 1 meter high if it will be adjacent to a public footpath or highway. You would also need planning permission if either your property or the neighbouring property which the wall would provide a boundary with, is a listed building.

Don’t be put off by the Building Control/Planning Permission maze – we will handle all of that for you.

A. No, our windows are manufactured to British Standards with a kite mark accreditation to prove it. The frames are steel reinforced and fitted with high security locking systems and hinge side protectors, these fittings are standard on our windows.

A. NO, we insist on it, all our windows fitted where a means of escape should be considered are fitted with Fire Egress hinges as standard.

A. We supply 3 keys with every door lock. The locks are ultra-high security. Additional keys can be sought afterwards if needed, from specified locksmiths.

A. There isn’t one! Each conservatory is designed for you individually. It will be made to the size and the design that suits you.

A. Generally all our products are covered by a fully transferable 10 year fully inclusive guarantee for your complete peace of mind.

A. No, each job is appraised and if we can use our own specialist easy deck system we will not need to have scaffolding erected. We do not make any charge if we use our own standard access equipment as we believe it is part of the job. On average we have to scaffold approx. 1 in 15 jobs.

A. Yes, there is a specialist coating on the surface of the glass that reacts with day light, this reaction prevents anything from sticking to the glass surface and when it rains any deposit is washed off.

A. NONE, we have never taken a deposit, we don’t believe a customer should fund our business before we have actually done something for you.

A. When you are ready to get your home improvement project quoted – simply give us a call on 0800 2 800 472. One of our Sales Consultants will visit you at home to take accurate measurements and talk to you about the options available. We will provide you with a free, no obligation quote. There is no pressure, no hard sell and no discounting techniques.
